Continuing Education Credits
Massage Therapy CEU / CEC Credits
We know that CEU Credits are important to maintain your professional status, and therefore we are trying to help Massage Therapists and RMTs with using our online courses towards CEU or CEC credits. We have applied to several provinces and associations, and are waiting to hear back from many of them. As we recieve news and information, we will update our site. Please find below the responses from each association.
CMTO - College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
"We have reviewed your program for the Online Instructor Development. As this is not core to our Continuing Education Program, we will not be granting it CEU status outright. Our registrants may choose to take your program, but they will require individual permission from the Quality Assurance Committee to use it towards their CEU totals.
To seek approval for CEUs, the registrant must submit a course outline to the Quality Assurance Committee. Along with this outline, they will need to provide to the Committee their rationale for taking this course. For example, if they are or are seeking employment with a massage therapy school, how this course will assist them in furthering that aspect of the profession and how it relates to the practice of massage therapy. The Committee will review each submission on a case by case basis and may grant CEUs for all, part or none of the program based on the information reviewed.

Natural Health Practitioners of Canada Association
We have contacted NHPCA to determine how our courses could benefit its members, since all NHPC Regular Members must adhere to a mandatory Continued Competency Program (CCP). Please find the details of our correspondence below, and the CCP breakdown in the chart below.
"Your courses would be considered personal development. The MAX amount of credits someone can get in this sector is 5. If they took all your courses that would be 5 personal development credits (these would not go towards their domain credits). The courses you offer that are 8+ hours would be 5 credits each and anything below 8 would be one credit each. Just to reinforce, they could get as many credits as they wanted in personal development for their CCP recording period but we only need 5. The credits will not carry over to the next CCP period.
